The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has taken a significant step to address sanitation and waterlogging problems by inducting advanced machines into their infrastructure on Thursday.
The new fleet includes backhoe loaders, flood control vehicles capable of displacing large volumes of water, and mechanical road sweepers, all primed to operate efficiently under an Operation and Maintenance model.
Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh commended the initiative, highlighting its potential to ensure a cleaner and greener Delhi while bolstering flood preparedness and dust control efforts on high-traffic roads.
