A nearly 8-foot-long python sparked panic in Thane city when it was discovered in a roadside drain on Tuesday. The reptile was located near a college in Savarkar Nagar, Maharashtra, alarming local residents.

Upon receiving a call at 11:32 am, the Thane Municipal Corporation's disaster management cell swiftly mobilized their team. A firefighter, accompanied by staff members and a Wildlife Welfare Association team, promptly reached the location.
