In a remarkable achievement, England secured the premier position in UEFA's fair play rankings last season for national and club teams involved in European soccer competitions. This accolade highlights the English teams' commendable conduct and respect across 241 games assessed by UEFA.

The rankings, meticulously compiled by UEFA, evaluate performance in areas such as respect for opponents and referees, conduct of team officials, and sportsmanship demonstrated by spectators. Noteworthy, Moldova was the standout nation in terms of improvement, making significant strides in its overall fair play scores.

UEFA recognizes the efforts of top-performing teams by offering a financial reward of 50,000 euros to be donated to a fair play or respect-themed project of the winners’ choosing, promoting sportsmanship and integrity within the sport.
