An abandoned newborn was discovered on a bus in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, sparking concern among local authorities. The infant, only 15 days old, was reportedly left by an unidentified couple.
The incident occurred at the Sarvate bus stand, where the couple disembarked silently, according to Sanju Kamle, officer in charge of the Chhoti Gwaltoli police station. Bus personnel promptly informed the police, leading to the infant's rescue.
The child will undergo a medical examination, and the Child Welfare Committee has been alerted as search efforts for the couple continue.
