India and China Strengthen Border Dialogue Amid Growing Partnership
India and China have held talks to manage their border, agreeing to use existing mechanisms for resolving issues. In the wake of a significant 2024 agreement intended to diminish military tensions after the deadly 2020 clash, the two nations are taking steps to enhance relations, such as resuming direct flights and boosting investment and trade flows.
During recent high-level military talks, held on Indian soil, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inaugural visit to China in seven years spotlighted the nations' roles as development partners. Discussions culminated in a shared vision to consolidate trade ties amid global tariff uncertainties.
