The historic flight took place over Ambala's Air Force Station, the first Indian base to receive Rafale jets from Dassault Aviation. President Murmu, the supreme commander of India's Armed Forces, flew for 30 minutes through a sweeping 200 km journey.

Flown by Group Captain Amit Gehani of the 17 Squadron, the aircraft soared at 15,000 feet at 700 km/h. Following the flight, President Murmu praised the Indian Air Force for its capabilities and congratulated Air Force Station Ambala for a successful mission.
