India's President, Droupadi Murmu, described her maiden voyage aboard a Rafale fighter jet as an unforgettable experience. The sortie, which marked her as the first Indian President to fly in both Rafale and Sukhoi 30 MKI aircraft, highlighted her pride in the nation's defense prowess.
The historic flight took place over Ambala's Air Force Station, the first Indian base to receive Rafale jets from Dassault Aviation. President Murmu, the supreme commander of India's Armed Forces, flew for 30 minutes through a sweeping 200 km journey.
Flown by Group Captain Amit Gehani of the 17 Squadron, the aircraft soared at 15,000 feet at 700 km/h. Following the flight, President Murmu praised the Indian Air Force for its capabilities and congratulated Air Force Station Ambala for a successful mission.
