In a historic event, President Droupadi Murmu took to the skies in a Rafale fighter jet at Haryana's Ambala Air Force Station, an experience she dubbed "unforgettable."

Alongside Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, who flew a separate aircraft, Murmu became the first Indian President to complete sorties in two fighter jets, following her recent flight in a Sukhoi-30 MKI in Assam.

This landmark sortie, piloted by Group Captain Amit Gehani, highlighted the Rafale's transformative role in the Indian Air Force, which first received the aircraft in 2020. The mission left Murmu with a renewed sense of national pride and a profound appreciation for India's defense capabilities.
