Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Manish Sisodia confidently declared that the party is emerging as a formidable alternative in Gujarat, particularly focusing on the upcoming Rajkot Municipal Corporation election. As campaigning wrapped up for the April 26 polls, Sisodia addressed criticisms toward the BJP governing body, accusing it of systematically weakening public services over 30 years.
Raising concerns about the state of government schools and hospitals, Sisodia pointed out significant deterioration. Despite some building improvements prompted by AAP's intervention, he asserted the quality of education and healthcare remains subpar. He emphasized that AAP's presence offers a new option for the electorate who demand change.
Sisodia, a former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, actively participated in a lively roadshow with numerous supporters in Rajkot. With over 4.18 crore eligible voters and extensive engagements covering district panchayats and municipalities, the local body polls signify a crucial juncture in Gujarat's political landscape.
