In a recent address at Uddur Hosalli village in Hassan, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy vehemently dismissed rumors regarding Karnataka Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan's potential switch to the Janata Dal (Secular). He stated unequivocally that there was no need for "such a category of people" within his party.
Speaking at the temple renovation ceremony, Kumaraswamy criticized the Congress-led government, accusing it of prioritizing political debates over essential governance. He cited the unresolved issue of drinking water shortages in numerous villages, noting the distraction caused by the prolonged speculation over the Chief Minister's position.
Furthermore, Kumaraswamy took aim at the Congress's alleged freebie culture, drawing attention to reports of the chief secretary of Himachal Pradesh having a salary cut. He also mocked Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar's campaigns outside Karnataka, implying that crucial state issues were being neglected.
