In his first joint meeting with the arrested Youth Congress members, Gandhi emphasized that peaceful protest is a constitutional right. He shared photographs of their meeting at the Congress headquarters on Instagram, expressing admiration for their bold stand.
The protest involved Youth Congress workers removing shirts to display slogans against the government and an India-US interim trade deal. The protestors, including Youth Congress chief Uday Bhanu Chib, were briefly detained before being released on bail.
