Over the past six years, Jupiter Wagons' market capitalization has skyrocketed by an impressive 152.8 times, underscoring Lohia's pivotal role as a second-generation leader within the family-owned enterprise. Trailing Lohia are Amit Dahanukar of Tilaknagar Industries and Abhyudaya Jindal of Jindal Stainless, both of whom have achieved a 52.5 times growth in their firms' market caps.
The comprehensive list recognizes 50 companies helmed by second-generation leaders with a combined market value of approximately USD 370 billion. Highlighting the substantial generational wealth transfer in India, Hurun India's founder, Anas Rahman Junaid, points to an impending USD 2 trillion shift in family business value.
