Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has lashed out at Congress and its president, Mallikarjun Kharge, over his contentious remark labeling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a 'terrorist'.
Kharge made the statement while addressing a press conference in Chennai, initially sparking controversy for associating the prime minister with the term. Upon request for clarification, Kharge stated he intended to communicate that Modi was destabilizing the democratic framework.
Gupta criticized Congress leaders, accusing them of losing mental stability and disrespecting constitutional roles. She accused Congress of treating Modi merely as an individual, neglecting his official status. BJP, in response, has urged the Election Commission to take severe action against Kharge's comments.
