Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led an inspection around Azadpur on Monday, addressing crucial infrastructure concerns such as open drains and poor cleanliness. Gupta, joined by officials from Delhi Metro, PWD, and MCD, urged improvements tailored to the public's needs.

The chief minister directed comprehensive drainage overhauls for Azadpur, Adarsh Nagar, and Tripolia Chowk as part of the new Drainage master plan. Stressing the importance of transparency, strict timelines, and high quality, Gupta insisted on minimizing public inconvenience.

Gupta also scrutinized construction at Azadpur Metro station, focusing on pillars and site hygiene. She demanded immediate restoration of disrupted footpaths and seamless agency coordination to ensure safety and timely project delivery.
