Arathi R Menon, the daughter of N Ramachandran, one of 26 tourists killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, proclaimed her pride on Wednesday in India's strong response to terrorism under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Speaking at a memorial meeting organized in Edapply, she claimed the attack was specifically targeted at Hindus to divide the nation and incite riots. Despite the tragedy, she emphasized, "We are still standing strong and united." She also highlighted India's robust military actions in Pakistan, known as Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, in response to the attack.
Menon, who lives in Dubai but returned to India for the Kashmir trip with her family, cited India’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism as a significant factor in thwarting Pakistan's attempts to destabilize the nation. The deadly attack on April 22, 2025, at Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, claimed 26 lives and caused widespread outrage across the country.
