In a spirited address, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued a formidable challenge to BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, pledging to lead the Congress party to victory in the 2028 Assembly elections. Reddy called on Congress activists to work tirelessly towards electing Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister in 2029.
Speaking at a public gathering in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Reddy criticized the BRS's alleged mismanagement and corruption, particularly in the Kaleshwaram project. He accused Rao of nepotism and challenged the legitimacy of BRS's governance, emphasizing the need for a democratic revival led by Congress.
Reddy, alongside PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, expressed confidence in Congress's return to power, outlining the party's welfare initiatives like farm loan waivers and free travel for women. The Chief Minister promised a robust campaign to secure Congress dominance in the state, reaffirming the slogan, "aur ek baar, Congress sarkar."
