Strengthening National Defence through Advanced Electronics Collaboration
Defence PSU BEL and BMIT have signed an MoU to collaborate on designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced electronic modules and systems for defence electronics and aerospace. Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has formed a strategic alliance with Bit Mapper Integration Technologies Pvt Ltd (BMIT) to advance the design, development, and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronic modules and systems.
The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Tuesday, will focus on defence electronics and aerospace, with a particular emphasis on critical technology areas such as electronic warfare, naval radars, and drones.
This partnership aims to bolster indigenous design and production capabilities crucial for national defence, as stated in a press release. The MoU was exchanged between Manoj Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of BEL, and Amit Mahajan, CEO of BMIT.
