On Monday, AICC national spokesperson Kuldeep Rathore launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, criticizing his public address regarding the women's quota as nothing more than an election speech intended to sway upcoming assembly polls.

Rathore remarked that when the Prime Minister addresses the nation, people expect significant announcements. However, in his recent 29-minute speech, Modi targeted Congress and opposition parties over women's reservation, making it feel like an election rally amidst polls in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

The Women's Reservation Bill, having already passed unanimously by Parliament and received presidential assent in 2023, was highlighted by Rathore as being used by the BJP in a strategized manner. He accused the BJP of inadequate female representation, asserting that Congress will inform the public of BJP's tactics.
