Banerjee accused the BJP of facilitating independent candidates from minority communities, suggesting insidious electoral tactics in her constituency and beyond. Additionally, she voiced concerns over the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, alleging biases prompted by the BJP but emphasized her role in protecting voter rights.
The TMC leader also criticized the derailment of the women's quota bill, asserting her party's long-standing advocacy for women's representation. She portrayed the BJP's failure to pass the legislation as a significant setback for Modi, vowing political change at both state and national levels.
