BJP's Jaipur Protest: Women's Quota Bill Sparks Controversy

The BJP staged a protest in Jaipur on Friday, accusing opposition parties of failing to support the women's reservation bill in the Lok Sabha. The rally, dubbed 'Jan Aakrosh Padyatra', was initiated from the BJP state headquarters, with prominent leaders such as CM Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy CM Diya Kumari present. Protesters were halted by authorities near the police commissionerate, yet the demonstration remained peaceful.

CM Sharma criticized the opposition, questioning their historical stance on women's rights, and condemned the Congress for prioritizing dynastic politics. Protesters brandished placards against the opposition, while the women's reservation bill remains a contentious issue, having failed to secure the required parliamentary majority.
