Abhishek Banerjee Rallies for TMC Against BJP Influence

Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee issued a clarion call to voters during a poll rally in Farakka, urging them to back the TMC as a means of counteracting the BJP's growing influence. Speaking to a large gathering, Banerjee accused the BJP of undermining the Congress, while asserting the TMC's commitment to thwarting the BJP's objectives.

Banerjee took aim at the Congress, alleging that representatives from the party have been absent in addressing the people's concerns over the past two years. Asserting that the Congress, Aam Janata Unnayan Party founder Humayun Kabir, and central agencies effectively serve as the BJP's operatives in the region, Banerjee cautioned voters against divisive tactics.

Touching upon various issues, Banerjee underscored the importance of maintaining constitutional integrity amid concerns over BJP-led initiatives. He spotlighted challenges like the Assam detention camps and riverine erosion and committed to the rehabilitation of affected families. Banerjee also warned of potential political instability affecting tourism in Murshidabad, urging support for TMC to ensure development and stability.
