BJP MLA’s Son Accused in Reckless Driving Case
Five people were injured in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, after a Mahindra Thar allegedly driven by Dinesh Lodhi, son of BJP MLA Pritam Lodhi, collided with them. The SUV hit a motorbike and two pedestrians. A case against Dinesh has been registered under rash driving charges as police investigate.

Five individuals sustained injuries in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, when a sport utility vehicle purportedly driven by Dinesh Lodhi, the son of BJP MLA Pritam Lodhi, struck them, police reported. The incident, involving a Mahindra Thar with 'MLA' markings, occurred on Thursday evening.
The SUV first collided with a motorbike, injuring three friends, Sanjay Parihar, Ashish Parihar, and Anshul Parihar, who were en route to the Dhanra village. It then proceeded to hit pedestrians Sita Verma and Pooja Soni, according to Vinod Chavai, the in-charge at the Karera police station. Sanjay Parihar sustained severe injuries and, alongside Verma and Soni, was transported to the hospital by witnesses.
A case has been lodged under section 281 for rash and negligent driving. In response, MLA Pritam Lodhi urged for fair investigation via social media, emphasizing the need for justice for the victims.
