Vanathi Srinivasan, the BJP candidate for Coimbatore North, has expressed confidence that alleged corrupt money from DMK's candidate V Senthil Balaji will not sway voters as Tamil Nadu prepares for its assembly elections.
Senthil Balaji, who has moved from his traditional constituency of Karur to contest in Coimbatore South, is under scrutiny from the BJP's Mahila Morcha national president, Srinivasan.
Srinivasan emphasized Coimbatore's discerning electorate, recalling her own triumph in 2021 when she defeated prominent opponent, actor Kamal Haasan, suggesting a difficult path for Balaji, bolstered by his controversial resources.
