In a press conference held on Friday, Tika Ram Jully, the Leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, accused the BJP-led state government of duplicity in handling the Adarsh Credit Cooperative Society scam.
Jully raised concerns over a conflict of interest involving the Additional Advocate General, Shivmangal Sharma. He alleged that Sharma’s law firm was representing the state government in the Supreme Court, while simultaneously appearing for a co-accused in a related case at the Delhi High Court.
This, according to Jully, violated Bar Council of India rules and misled the scam's victims, who have already lost savings. He called for a high-level investigation, questioning the state government's awareness and demanding accountability for professional misconduct.
