Britain Bolsters Gulf Security with Rapid Sentry Deployment

In a significant move to strengthen regional security, Britain is set to deploy its Rapid Sentry air defense system to Kuwait following an Iranian drone attack on a Kuwaiti oil facility. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Keir Starmer's office on Friday.

The deployment decision was discussed during a recent phone conversation between Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Kuwait's Crown Prince Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah. The call focused on addressing the security concerns in the Gulf region after the overnight aggression.

"The Prime Minister began by condemning the reckless overnight drone attack on a Kuwaiti oil refinery," a Downing Street spokesperson elaborated. "He reiterated that the UK stands with Kuwait and all our allies in the Gulf, ensuring their safety remains a top priority."
