BJP Announces Key Candidates for Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday revealed their list of candidates for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, marking key entries into the state's political arena.
Union Minister L Murugan has been nominated to contest from the Avanashi seat, while former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan will run from the Mylapore constituency. National president of BJP Mahila Morcha, Vanathi Srinivasan, joins the race from Coimbatore (North).
Additionally, candidates such as Kirthika Shivkumar from Modakkurichi, S Vijayadharani from Vilavancode, and Nagesh Kumar from Thalli are part of the 27-member list. The assembly elections for 234 seats will take place on April 23, setting the stage for a significant political battle.
