West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has accused AIMIM and ISF of orchestrating a gherao involving judicial officers in Malda district. She claimed the Congress and BJP were instigating forces behind the incident.
Addressing an election rally in Harirampur, the TMC leader stated that state's CID arrested the main accused, an advocate linked to AIMIM, as he attempted to flee from Bagdogra airport. Banerjee alleged misappropriation by the BJP, asserting that the mastermind was on loan from AIMIM.
She further criticized the voter list discrepancies, implying that Prime Minister Modi had previously benefited from them. Banerjee also suggested that Union Home Minister Amit Shah's electoral presence might actually decrease BJP's vote share in West Bengal.
