An explosion occurred outside the Punjab BJP headquarters, described as an unfortunate event by the party's working president, Ashwani Sharma. The incident took place around 5 pm on Wednesday using a suspected crude explosive device.
Although there were no casualties, the situation escalated tensions and raised concerns over the state's law and order. Sharma accused elements opposed to peace for the attack, linking it to previous grenade incidents in Punjab.
Sharma criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's handling of the security situation and suggested that the BJP's rising influence was unsettling for the government. Investigations are underway, with increased security at the BJP office by Punjab Police and CRPF personnel.
