In a heated political exchange, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin critiqued AIADMK leader K Palaniswami at an election rally, juxtaposing the DMK's historical alliance with the BJP against the AIADMK's current alignment with the party.
Stalin emphasized that during the Vajpayee era, DMK retained its autonomy, unlike the present AIADMK, which he accused of yielding to BJP's influence, thereby compromising on Tamil Nadu's development.
Conversely, Palaniswami, in a public rebuttal, pointed to the historical association of DMK leaders with BJP, accusing Stalin of unfair attacks. Both leaders aim to consolidate support in the upcoming election, scheduled for April 23.
