Left Front's Strategic Seat-Sharing Deal: A New Hope for West Bengal Polls
The Left Front has announced a seat-sharing arrangement with the ISF and CPI(ML) Liberation for the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. The ISF will contest 30 seats while the CPI(ML) Liberation will contest 8. Left Front, CPI(M), and other partners will field candidates in 252 seats altogether.

The Left Front has formalized a seat-sharing arrangement with the ISF and CPI(ML) Liberation in a bid to contest the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections.
As per the agreement, the ISF will contest 30 seats and CPI(ML) Liberation will contest 8 seats, with the Left Front fielding candidates in 252 out of 294 assembly seats.
Left Front Chairman Biman Bose stated that this election marks both a challenge and an opportunity in the current political climate. Assembly elections are scheduled for April 23 and 29, with results being announced on May 4.
