Iran has strongly denied US allegations that Tehran is requesting a ceasefire, labeling recent remarks by US President Donald Trump as 'false and baseless.'
The Revolutionary Guard, Iran's powerful paramilitary force, reiterated its control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a crucial global shipping route.
In a statement, the Guard declared the strait will remain closed to what it called 'enemies' of Iran, dismissing US actions as a 'ridiculous spectacle.'
