BSP chief Mayawati has launched a scathing critique against the Samajwadi Party and Congress. She accused them of insincerely leveraging the legacy of BSP founder Kanshi Ram to garner Dalit votes ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Mayawati alleged these parties have historically failed to support Kanshi Ram and accused Congress of hypocrisy for demanding a Bharat Ratna for him now, having neglected this during its time in power. She asserted her unwavering commitment to Kanshi Ram's vision and the BSP's strength under her leadership.
Mayawati highlighted the reversal of initiatives she implemented to honor Kanshi Ram by the SP government, branding it a 'double-faced' move. She cited Kanshi Ram's book 'The Chamcha Yug' to caution against such political tactics.
