AI-Driven Revolution: Transforming Delhi's Traffic Management

In a move to revolutionize Delhi's traffic management, a parliamentary panel has urged authorities to embrace AI-driven systems and global best practices.
Tabled Tuesday, the report highlights the need for intelligent traffic systems to improve monitoring and safety. The committee recommends earmarking parts of the fines collected from traffic violators for road safety improvements.
Authorities are encouraged to adopt advanced technology like AI, sensors for optimizing flow, and better coordination among agencies. Currently, 334 detection cameras operate in the city, with plans to procure 328 more.
