An Indian national sustained injuries when shrapnel from an Iranian missile hit him in the neck in Israel, officials reported on Monday. The incident occurred on Sunday, leading to immediate medical intervention at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. After extensive surgery, the individual's condition has stabilized.
Hospital spokesperson emphasized the critical condition upon arrival and credited the medical team's efforts as crucial in saving his life. 'He arrived in critical condition with a severe neck injury. The dedicated team at Ichilov successfully performed a long surgery, and thankfully, he is now stabilizing,' the spokesperson informed PTI.
The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv is actively monitoring the injured individual's recovery. Representatives visited the hospital to ensure his well-being and are maintaining contact with other Indian nationals in Israel, amidst the ongoing regional tensions, according to officials.
