In a pointed critique of Bihar's governance under the NDA, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav declared that the state's enduring poverty reflects the ruling coalition's failure over decades. At a rally, Yadav argued that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is a figurehead controlled by BJP's Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
Yadav urged voters to favor a local leadership in the upcoming elections by supporting the INDIA bloc. He pledged comprehensive changes, including job creation and infrastructure development, if elected. Promises included reducing LPG prices, increasing pensions, and installing agro-industries and sugar mills to foster economic growth.
Counterpointing Modi's claims, Yadav emphasized his commitment to delivering on promises and highlighted his successful policy implementations during his tenure as deputy CM. He vowed to combat corruption and create a secure, investment-friendly environment in Bihar.
