Bunty and Babli of Delhi: The Chain-Snatching Saga
Delhi Police arrested a brother-sister duo, known as the 'Bunty–Babli' pair, for snatching gold chains in South Delhi. Neelam and her brother, both drug addicts from Ambedkar Nagar, come from a criminal family. They used a scooter for their crimes and have been linked to several chain snatching cases.

In a significant development, the Delhi Police have taken into custody a brother-sister duo, notorious for a spree of chain snatchings in South Delhi. Dubbed the ‘Bunty–Babli’ pair, their arrest marks an end to a series of thefts involving the daring siblings.
Identified as Neelam alias Rita (24) and her 17-year-old brother, the pair hail from Ambedkar Nagar. Both are considered drug addicts and products of a criminal household lineage. Their father notably has a history with the ‘Thak-Thak’ gang, linked to a high-profile robbery in 2018.
The siblings were apprehended following an extensive investigation involving CCTV footage and local intelligence. The police have recovered four gold chains and a scooter used in their unlawful endeavors, shedding light on their criminal activities across multiple areas.
