Bihar Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Bankipur, Nitin Nabin, lauded Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his governance, describing him as a 'true samajwadi.' Nabin pointed out the significant progress made under Nitish's leadership, transforming Bihar from its infamous past involving scams and caste-based politics to becoming a state recognized for development.
Nabin stated that under the current administration, issues such as the fodder scam and casteism have been replaced by narratives of progress and fulfillment of basic necessities. Representing the BJP in the upcoming elections, Nabin has held the Bankipur seat for three consecutive terms.
Separately, Janata Dal (United) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha critiqued Mahagathbandhan's CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav over his dismissal of the Waqf (Amendment) Act.
