The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference officially commenced its campaign for the Nagrota Assembly bypoll on Tuesday, with a focus on its track record of effective governance and inclusive politics under Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

Launching the campaign at Panj Garain, key party leaders rallied support from members and activists, urging them to convey a message of hope and stability to the electorate under the leadership of the National Conference, as reported by a party spokesperson.

The upcoming bypolls for Nagrota and Budgam are scheduled for November 11. Party leaders, including Ajay Sadhotra, emphasized the hands-on governance style of Omar Abdullah, particularly his responsive approach during crises, while Shamim Begum, the party's candidate, highlighted her vision for further development in Nagrota.
