Bhagalpur's JD(U) MP Ajay Kumar Mandal announced his intention to resign on Tuesday, citing frustration over the lack of consultation in ticket distribution for the Bihar assembly elections.
Mandal stated that despite his longstanding service and dedication to the party, key decisions have been made without his input, raising concerns about the party's future direction.
He criticized the party for prioritizing outsiders over loyal members, a move he argues undermines the strength of JD(U). The leadership under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has yet to respond to Mandal's public grievances.
