A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged killing of his mother in Jharkhand's Pakur district, according to local authorities.
The suspect, Charan Hembram, reportedly attacked his mother, Dhuni Hembram, with a stone during an argument at their home in Sonajodi village. The incident resulted in her immediate death.
The police quickly responded, taking Hembram into custody and registering a case. A blood-stained stone, believed to be the weapon, was seized as part of the investigation, which is being overseen by Pakur's Sub-divisional Police Officer Dayanand Azad.
