In a recent statement, the Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) have confirmed that Jharkhand's supply of petroleum products, including petrol, diesel, and LPG, remains stable. Officials reported an average daily supply of 1,750 kilolitres (KL) of petrol and 3,450 KL of diesel across the state.
Speaking at a press conference, Pradeep Paul, the state-level coordinator for OMC, assured that there are ample stocks available, with a 12-day supply of petrol and diesel maintained at operational outlets. He urged citizens to avoid panic buying, as there is no disruption in services.
Moreover, progress in the Piped Natural Gas (PNG) sector indicates a shift towards reducing LPG cylinder dependence. With 41,000 current PNG connections and 4,000 new ones added recently, the government's infrastructure expansion aims to further stabilize energy resources in urban areas.
