The body of a senior IRS officer's daughter, discovered in her southeast Delhi residence, bore signs of a violent struggle, confirming a brutal murder through strangulation.
Dr. Sudhir Gupta of AIIMS-Delhi disclosed the post-mortem results, highlighting multiple injuries on her body that suggested she resisted her attacker. The neck dissection revealed significant internal hemorrhaging, corroborating death by asphyxiation.
The 19-year-old accused, Rahul Meena, reportedly used a spare key to access the home. Evidence indicates he assaulted and strangled the victim with a charging cable, later fleeing the scene after stealing valuables. Police captured Meena in Dwarka, and he is linked to another criminal case in Rajasthan.
