The bags, abandoned and suspiciously packed, were found during an aircraft security check. Approximately 18.57 kg of contraband was seized under the NDPS Act.

The unclaimed baggage was discovered during a routine security check on a flight arriving from Bangkok, prompting further investigation.
Following thorough inspection, authorities confirmed the presence of 18.57 kg of marijuana, leading to the contraband's seizure under the NDPS Act, 1985.
