Seven live bullets were recovered from a bathroom in a railway hospital located in Pettah, the state capital, as reported by police on Wednesday.
The abandoned ammunition was found inside a toilet, prompting police to secure the area and seize the bullets for examination.
A police officer from Vanchiyoor station mentioned that while the bullets appear old, they are live. Authorities have launched an investigation, with preliminary findings suggesting a possible connection to the Railway Protection Force, although confirmation awaits further inquiry.
