A member of the Tillu Tajpuria gang, identified as Robin, was captured by the Delhi Police's Special Cell after a shootout in Rohini early Wednesday. Robin, who was on parole, had been evading authorities.
The confrontation happened in Sector 36 when police intercepted Robin. Shots were fired from both sides, and Robin was injured in the leg. He was swiftly subdued by the officers.
Robin had been serving a life sentence for murder and had jumped parole. After the encounter, he was taken into police custody, and further legal actions are in progress.
