Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has submitted an application to an MP-MLA court requesting a postponement of the verdict in the case related to the farmer protests. The verdict was originally scheduled for April 30.
Ranaut's lawyer, Anusuya Chaudhary, stated that the application claims the court gave the complainant, advocate Ramashankar Sharma, 'undue opportunity' and seeks additional time for the defense.
The complainant argues that the hearings concluded with final arguments on April 3. The initial verdict date of April 16 was already deferred to April 30 after new documents were submitted.
