Political Tensions Escalate: BJP Seeks EC Action Over Kharge's 'Terrorist' Remark

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for immediate action from the Election Commission of India regarding Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's controversial 'terrorist' remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During a press conference, Kharge implied that the Prime Minister was 'terrorising' political parties by leveraging government machinery to silence opposition. Although Kharge later clarified that his use of the word 'terrorist' was metaphorical, the BJP remains steadfast in its pursuit of accountability.

In a formal complaint, the BJP demands Mallikarjun Kharge issue a public apology and suggests regulatory actions including restrictions on his campaign activities.
