Callum Hudson-Odoi, Nottingham Forest's winger, will miss the rest of the season following surgery on his right quadriceps muscle. The operation took place Tuesday, and the club expects his return to training during preseason.

Prior to his injury, Hudson-Odoi had netted six goals this season. He was injured during a Europa League match against Porto, posing a challenge for the relegation-threatened club.

Currently, Forest is five points ahead of the relegation zone with five Premier League games remaining. The team will face Aston Villa in the Europa League semifinals. Hudson-Odoi, a former Chelsea player, confirmed on social media that his surgery was successful and expressed optimism about his comeback.
