Diplomatic Tensions Escalate: Iran Condemns UAE Arrests
Iran has strongly criticized the United Arab Emirates for detaining individuals on what it claims are unfounded charges. The UAE announced it had dismantled a terrorist cell linked to Iran, an action that Iran believes diverts attention from U.S. and Israeli aggression.
Tensions have risen between Iran and the United Arab Emirates as Iran condemns the UAE for arresting individuals on allegedly false grounds, according to reports from Iranian state media that quote the foreign ministry.
On Monday, the UAE claimed it had dismantled a terrorist cell, purportedly linked to Iran, accusing it of plotting to destabilize the region.
Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei criticized what he termed as baseless allegations, suggesting that these actions aim to shift focus away from the accountability of U.S. and Israeli actions, as reported by state media.
