AIADMK's Plans for Change: Caste Survey Promise and Economic Relief

In a recent poll rally at Jalangapuram in Salem district, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that a caste survey will be implemented if his party wins the forthcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
Highlighting the state's economic challenges, Palaniswami accused the DMK regime of failing to control the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities. He recalled that prices of raw rice were significantly lower during the AIADMK regime, signaling the need for more effective economic policies.
Moreover, Palaniswami promised direct economic relief by pledging Rs 10,000 in direct bank deposits for citizens burdened by tax hikes on essential services, should his party come to power. With a manifesto boasting 297 promises, the AIADMK seeks to implement substantial changes post-elections.
