A farmer's tractor, stolen from Beed district in Maharashtra, was swiftly recovered by police within two days, authorities revealed on Saturday.
The alleged thief, Ramdas Asaram Shriram, 25, was caught on Friday after farmer Satish Bansode reported the theft on April 15. The vehicle was parked outside his home in Kaij tehsil.
Utilizing CCTV footage, the Local Crime Branch conducted an investigation, capturing Shriram in Paytalwadi village on April 17. The stolen tractor, valued at Rs 5.70 lakh, was found hidden in his agricultural field and returned to its owner.
